We are so excited to begin our 17th Season! This year, DKW is proud to bring you The ReMARCable Dance Project, DKW Dance + Technique Workshops for Kids, & More To Come!
Closing out the 2025 Key West International Film Festival, join us for a work-in-progress preview screening of The Life & Art of Eric Anfinson. The documentary film offers an intimate and cinematic glimpse into the journey of one of Key West’s most celebrated painters. Directed by award-winning filmmakers Cassidy Rast and Odin Wadleigh, the documentary traces Anfinson’s formative years and young adulthood, the pivotal experiences that shaped his creative voice, and his present-day life as an artist.
The film captures not only the physical challenges he faces, but also the profound ways the island community fuels his inspiration and resilience. More than a portrait, it is a meditation on art, perseverance, and belonging.
Both special evenings include a live interactive performance by Kyla Piscopink to open the evening and a post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers! (ONLY Sunday concludes with a reception on Hugh’s View.)
When & Where: Sunday, November 16th-17th at The Studios of Key West. Tickets are on sale now at TSKW.org. Sunday is SOLD OUT, but tickets are AVAILABLE for Monday, November 17th!

The ReMARCable Dance Project is an innovative dance program that combines the talents of Dance Key West, Blue’s Clues’ Steve Burns, and MARC.This exciting program intends to benefit MARC clients by helping them improve coordination, participate in mild physical activity and provide an opportunity for socialization, all while learning the art of dance. We believe that artistic expression and physical activity are imperative to good health, and that every creative voice should be nurtured.
For our 7th ReMARCable Dance Project, MARC clients will team up with Dance Key West & Steve, to learn dance moves, create choreography, perform and have fun!

from our Artistic Director:
Dance Key West is excited to announce that we are entering our 17th year!
As we look back at the past, we are filled with gratitude. Our accomplishments include bringing original, professional dance performances to the streets, beaches and stages of Key West, and to NYC’s Lincoln Center, Dixon Place and Triskelion Arts. Performing for you has been an honor.
In addition to performing, we’ve also been thrilled to develop outreach programs right here in Key West, and beyond. Thus far, we’ve created workshops dedicated to helping young choreographers find their voice, and partnered with local agencies such as MARC (in collaboration with Blue’s Clues’ Steve Burns), Bahama Village Music Program, and Grace Lutheran School to custom build outreach programs specifically designed for the populations they serve. We’ve offered Autism Movement Therapy® and classes for all levels and abilities. We’ve collaborated with Dr. Susan Dewey (professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice at The University of Alabama), Julie Tennant-Caine (regional director at the South Carolina Department of Corrections), and Keith Burnstein (singer-songwriter, pianist, and film composer) to create an outreach program that gives voice to women in prison by translating their written work into stage performances. All of this has been possible thanks to the unwavering passion and commitment from Dance Key West and the generous support from our friends.
Dance is a beautiful and powerful art form, but it comes with unique financial challenges, especially here at “the end of the rainbow”. With your continued support, we will create more local and touring performances, and we will continue to grow our outreach programs. Your generosity will not only give us the opportunity to share the art of dance, but it will also help mold the future of dance in Key West. Your gift allows us to raise the bar to a whole new level, all while enhancing the rich, cultural fabric that makes Key West so special.
Thank you. Thank you for your donations. Thank you for cheering us on. Thank you for attending a show. Thank you for being a part of Dance Key West!
Sincerely,
Kyla Piscopink & Dance Key West
