Celebrating 16 Years!

Dance Key West’s 16th anniversary season includes performance, outreach, and education, as we stay true to our objective of sharing the art of dance with the Key West community and beyond.

Sea Legs

“Sea Legs” is a site-specific performance choreographed by Cait Belland. Dancers will perform original choreography in celebration of the natural beauty of Key West. During the performance, dancers will weave through phrasing that suggests the power of nature and examines how we choose to respond to force: Do we flow or do we resist? “Sea Legs” highlights the relationship between humans and the ocean, emphasizing conservation and respect for marine life and the key west community. The theme of “Sea Legs” symbolizes finding ones balance and adapting to new environments.
