Kyla is the founder/artistic director of Dance Key West. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia, Kyla has danced and shown her work at Lincoln Center, Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts and all over Key West. In addition to her work with Dance Key West, Kyla has also danced with Daniel Gwirtzman, Paradise Ballet Theatre, The Key West Pops, Core Project Chicago, The Buffalo Jills NFL Cheerleaders, The Love Show NYC and for artist Manuel Mendive during the first US-Cuba museum exchange in 5 decades. Kyla loves teaching and has been fortunate to share her love of dance and movement with many wonderful organizations including Donna Roll’s Young Artist Program and NYC-based Educational Performance Tours. Kyla is proud to be a studio artist at The Studios of Key West. Recent favorite projects include: The ReMARCable Dance Project, a program she created for adults with developmental disabilities, and choreography for ‘Ok, Toilet Bowl’ (STEVENSTEVEN).
