Kimberly Bryant has been dancing for nearly 4 decades. In 1987 she was chosen to perform The Nutcracker Suite with the Joffrey Ballet at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. During middle school she auditioned and was invited to participate in the University of Iowa’s collegiate dance program under the tutelage of, Francoise Martinet. At age 15 she earned a merit scholarship to attend Virginia School of the Arts; there she performed the role of Swanhilda from Coppelia. In college Ms. Bryant was invited to become a member of the George Mason University Dance Company. Graduating with a B.A. in Psychology she also earned a minor in dance. She became a professional dance instructor in 1997.

While living in the Washington, DC area Ms. Bryant instructed at Arlington Center for Dance, The Russell School of Ballet, and the Center for Ballet Arts.

She has been an instructor in Key West since 2001 and is pleased to be a dancer, teaching artist and the resident hair and makeup artist for Dance Key West.

Her local charity contributions include: Queen Mother, Pridefest, Fantasy Fest AH Coronation Ball, Helpline of Monroe County, Aqua Idol and Headdress Ball.

Kimberly has operated her own business, Hairapy Salon, beauty treatments + remedies since 2010. Mother to two amazing sons, the family is fortunate to call Key West home.
